Are there differences between the UNICODE and the ASCII versions of the program? |

- The unicode version is identifiable by the "Unicode Support" text under the Help - About dialog
- The unicode version supports languages like japanese, russian, ...
- The unicode version is installed and working only on windows 2000 or higher
- The executable only download is the ascii version (it has to be compatible with all windows versions)
- If you want a executable only unicode version just install the application with the setup program on windows 2000 or higher and get FreeVimager.exe from the installation directory (usually C:\Program Files\FreeVimager)
- There is a speed difference between the unicode and the ascii versions; the unicode version is a bit faster because it is build with a newer compiler
