What are the differences between the executable only and the setup versions of FreeVimager?

  • They share the same executable (except that one may be unicode while the other ascii)
  • The FreeVimager executable is smart, if it runs outside its installation directory it acts as executable only, this means that the registry is not touched and the configurations are stored in a ini file
