PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) ip camera control is not supported because each camera manufacturer is using its own protocol to handle that. It's quite difficult to support and maintain hundreds of protocols and there is also not really a need for that because the aim of ContaCam is unattended surveillance.
Hint: while running ContaCam you can regulate PTZ on your camera's web interface.
